Autumn Blaze Pear
Autumn Blaze Pear | Pyrus calleryana
This pear gets its name for the reddish – purple fall color which is an added bonus. The white flowers in spring are very attractive and this one does not produce fruit. It is more cold hardy than the ‘Bradford’ pears. The size is roughly thirty five feet tall by about thirty feet wide at maturity. A great addition to the parade of color as it flowers in May.
