Description

First Editions Snowdance Japanese Tree Lilac | Syringa reticulata

PLANTING POINTS: This is the last blooming ornamental tree in the parade of color. Its white flower clusters bloom in June. This tree also has a dark grey metallic bark with pronounced white lenticles which give year-round interest. A great urban tree that is very common in the urban setting because of its pollution and salt tolerance.

SITING THIS TREE: This tree handles dry sandy soils and drought conditions well. Avoid frequently wet feet with this tree. It will be vigorous and healthy in a wide range of soil types. Requires full sun the majority of the day.
