Self‑fertile — does not require another plum for pollination, though yields improve with a nearby compatible European plum. Produces fragrant white spring blossoms. Hardy, productive, and dependable even in northern climates. Moderate growth rate: forms a rounded, compact tree that fits well in small spaces. Requires annual pruning in late winter to maintain structure and promote fruiting wood. Water deeply during establishment; moderately drought‑tolerant once mature.
