Description

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Renba’ / Berry White® Hydrangea Tree

Planting Points: Tree‑form (standard) version of Berry White®—same color progression but displayed on a lifted canopy. Large, conical blooms start creamy white, transition to soft pink, then deepen to berry‑red as the season progresses. Blooms on new wood, so prune in late winter or early spring to shape and maintain canopy size. Strong, upright stems help prevent flopping. Long bloom window from midsummer into fall. Very hardy and reliable, even in northern climates. Keep soil evenly moist; mulch helps retain moisture and maintain root temperature. Maintain a clean graft union—remove any suckers that appear below the graft.

Siting This Tree: Excellent specimen plant for front yards, patios, entryways, and foundation beds. Ideal for small gardens, where a tree form provides height and floral impact without taking up much space. Works beautifully in mixed borders, cottage gardens, and modern landscapes alike. Avoid hot, exposed, droughty sites without supplemental moisture.
