A resilient tree that will adapt to most soil conditions also has no serious insect or disease problems. The upright form, resiliency, and beautiful fall color create a perfect combination for an urban tree.
Siting This Tree: A beautiful and upright growing tree gives some flexibility when finding a permanent home. It prefers moist, sandy, well-drained soils. Tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions, including both alkaline and acidic soils and compacted soils. Also tolerant of saline conditions, air pollution and heat.
